Biography

Raised and educated in israel , i obtained my BFA in jerusalem in the area of goldsmithing and then proceeded to open my own work shop.later i continoud my studies in this area in Japan and obtained an MFA.

Now I live on the island with my family and have a home studio in which i design and costum make all my pieces. my inspiration is nature . i love the sea and shells and derive much pleasure combing the PEI shore. The nature and beauty of the landscape that surrounds me are my inspiration.my work is very organic and i love infusing color and texture into it by using gems, enamels etching , hammering...

1988-1992 BFA Bezalel Art Academy , Jerusalem.
1996-2000 MFA Kanazawa College of art, Japan.awarded the
Japanese minister of Education scholarship.
2004,2006 Istructing enamelling at NSCAD in Halifax.
2001,2003 Instructing workshops in japaneses techniques .
2006 PEI best product award at the Craft and Giftware
trade show.
2007 Work chosen to be given out as awards for the
Northern Lights competition.
2007 Awarded a grant by the PEI council of the arts.
