An artist of Queens County. BiographyI am a painter and I work primarily with oils. I started out sketching and discovered that I love to sketch in pastels and charcoal, but now I mostly paint. I do not have a specific style because I love to explore different techniques and each day brings something new that I would like to paint. I'm not sure what my inspirations are yet really, it just depends on my mood, but I love to paint anything with bright colors and lots of light and anything to do with the island! I have works at The Ellen's Creek Gallery at the moment and during the summer I will have some at the Dunes Gallery in Brackley. I also have a studio in Charlottetown and I will be opening an art gallery there this summer of 2006. It is called "gallerie maison rouge" and just like the name, it is a little red house located at 41 Grafton street between Pownal and Rochford Street. I will be showing and selling oil paintings, but you never know, you may see some pottery there too!
