An artist of Prince County. BiographyFirst solo exhibition - "Wings & a Rabbit" at the Royal Ontario Museum 1969 followed by multiple solo and group exhibitions. Highlights include solo exhibitions at the Art Gallery of Ontario - Toronto; Agnes Etherington Arts Centre - Kingston; Whitby Art Gallery - Whitby. Group exhibitions include "Five Printmakers" which travelled Canada and Europe in the 1970's. Began etching in 1972 after receiving a Canada Council Award - Materials Grant. Since 1989 has owned and operated The Studio Gallery in Victoria and has continued exhibiting at various venues on PEI. Highlights include 1998 winner of the People’s Choice Award in the Garden of the Gulf Juried Exhibition at Confederation Centre of the Arts, Charlottetown, PEI and the two-person exhibition "What the Mind Sees...the Spirit Feels" with batik artist Sylvia Ridgway. Finalist and winner of the 2004 International Juried Online Symbolist Art Show "The Mythic Quest". Since the 1970's has illustrated many children's books and readers including "Nanambozo", "Story of a Mother" for CBC television, and "In Search for the New Moonstones".
