Biography

In London, a founder member of York Street Artists. Shown at York Street Gallery & Jordan Gallery,London, Pampanini's Gallery, Warwick. One man, & group shows. Regularly at Royal Academy, Painters & Etchers etc. I’ve had many ways of making a living: Designer Goldsmith. (Two person metal shows & art group shows in Canada.) Illustrator & Commercial Artist. Artist designer of Church Windows (real stained glass.) Furniture maker/antique restorer. Interpretative centre design Book illustrator/designer for children and grownups. Identity/publicity for ethically sound business Graphics, Cartoons, Museum displays. Stuff for CD’s, web sites, & films. 1999, back into fine art. Acrylics and watercolours. 1999-200 group shows,Kier Gallery & Arts Guild, PEI. Show with Kier, 2000 - 2001 - 2002. 2001 - 2002 Contemporary Canadian Art, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Education & Training

classically trained at City & Guilds, London, U.K.
Printmaking - especially copper plate Line Engraving - (also stone carving, gun engraving, historical building renovation, and all sorts of other interestingly archaic skills) by Henry Wilkinson (Exceeding thanks to Wilkie who believes an engraver can do anything. He can, not me though. . . )
In Painting (all media) by Rodney Burns & Robin Guthrie.
I was fortunate to win various awards and rare Certificate of Exceptional Merit (last, I believe, from City & Guilds before streamlining to modern degrees/diplomas.)
